Montenegro’s Masa Vujadinovic and Lejla Vulicgave gave us a 27-second snippet of their JESC entry “Budi Dijete na Jedan Dan” last week, and today they’ve finally released the long awaited video in full.
Podgorica may be debuting at the contest, but they are already showing their passion for Junior Eurovision. After internally selecting a girl duo, consisting of Masa (pink skirt) and Lejla (green skirt), the production team arranged a whole little army to accompany them in the video.
The cheerful and pictureque video, which features lots of selfies, also involves some cool names famous to wider public, including basketball player Teo Johnson, actor George Pusep, and director Drasko Durovic — the man behind Rambo Amadeus’ scenography in Baku.
As for the song, its structure is quite interesting. It starts with an English-language ballad section, but the song gradually becomes faster and more musical. By the end we’re all singing its chorus, which contains the song’s strongest message — be a kid for one day!
As the title suggests, and one of the songwriters Sanja Peric confirms, their aim is to encourage adults to forget all the problems, concerns, and grown-up worries.

Do you like Montenegro’s first JESC song? Was it enough to make a kid of you for one day? Or would you rather get all silly for a whole year? Let us know in the comments box below!

The video looks like it was made using an old phone speaking of phones the one they were using to take selfies doesn’t have a front camera. (Just saying)And the whole video makes no sense and looks like it was just slapped together in a day with whoever wanted to be in the video. As for the song? Burgh…. Almost as bad as San Marino or Serbia’s but Serbia will most likely give it 12 points so we know it will get 24 points any more? Maybe Slovenia or Croatia but the Yugoslavian block voting in Eurovision goes a bit… Read more »
The video is lovely but the song is just all over the place. This is unfortunately my least favourite right now and I think it has a good chance of being last in Malta.
*I got a little bored but it is not at all awful, it is still good, but, boring…
Do I likely? Uh, NO…
Love love love it!!!!!!
