Azerbaijan’s Safura came fifth at Eurovision 2010. Estonia’s Elina Born is a favourite to win Eurovision 2015. Safura sang “Drip Drop”, a song about a woman torn up by love. Elina sings “Goodbye to Yesterday”, a song about a woman torn up by a man who leaves her bed in the morning. But these post-Soviet Sisters share a lot more than a love of Eurovision and the ability to sing. Judging from their lovely faces, they appear to share the same DNA!
Safura said Goodbye to Yesterday, when she announced that she would leave the stage forever to take care of her husband and their newborn baby. She’s such a good mom and wife! And while she has left the stage, her doppelgänger Elina Born is heading to Vienna with Stig Rästa.
