Update on March 17: This poll is now closed. See the complete results by clicking here.
This year’s Eurovision contestants are coming thick and fast. Like plastic doggies on the dashboard of a cab, our heads are bobbing back and forth, back and forth. To help us focus our attention, we’re asking all y’all to check in with us every week to let us know which ESC acts you’re feeling, and which ones you’d like to forget. During the first five weeks you’ve cast more than 10,000 votes, but, as always, we’re starting from scratch as we welcome a new crop of contestants.
Before voting, you can listen to all of this year’s Eurovision songs on our contestants page. But let us quickly introduce you to the new entrants chosen since our last poll went live.
Israel: Mei Finegold with “Same Heart”
This rock diva channels strength and vulnerability in equal measure. At times the choreography is straight up Beyonce, but Mei keeps it real by mixing in some Hebrew. We’re loving how easily she moves between warehouse and Israeli forest.
Greece: Freaky Fortune with “Rise Up”
This song takes Greek ethno pop, sprinkles on some modernity, and creates what will no doubt become a club anthem from Athens to Thessaloniki. The song plays on themes of personal empowerment and national revolution. It’s smart.
Denmark: Basim with “Cliché Love Song”
Danish cherub Basim takes every cliché in the book and gives them the Bruno Mars treatment. This number is upbeat—and potentially annoying—but for now it’s making us feel pretty good.
Sweden: Sanna Nielsen with “Undo”
So we’ve all been joking about the grammar issues with “undo my sad,” but at the end of the day we’ll do whatever Sanna says. Lady can sing and boy can she croon about sorrow. And what pretty lights. In a rather weak year, Sanna may surprise. Can Sweden really afford to host again?!

Montenegro: Sergej Cetkovic with “Moj svijet”(My World)
After watching this video, we finally understand why Montenegrin contestants always get eliminated in the finals. They underperform because they want to get back to their beautiful country! Look at that scenery, y’all! The song isn’t bad either. We’re hoping he’ll keep it in Montenegrin. The English-language version feels a bit flat…
Slovenia: Tinkara Kovach with “Spet/Round and Round”
This is ethnic. This is modern. This is a woman in a transluscent skirt playing a flute. It’s one of the more original numbers we’ve seen from Slovenia, and it’s making us feel real sexy.

I think peace loving free democratic Europe and the world community must ban fascist state Russia and their vassal Armenia totally for the occupation of Crimea bearing in mind the occupation of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine by the mentioned authoritarian fascist states such as Russia and Armenia. We are in free Europe and beyond shouldn’t be categorically in the the same boat with gay haters, gay beaters, fascists, trolls, liars, fabricators, dictators, tyrants, aggressors and illegitimate occupants and their supporters! Boycott fascist Russia and their vassal dog Armenia! We show disrespect to our freedom, beliefs, sovereignty and democracy in Europe… Read more »

Alex, I’m Spanish and I didn’t read any report in any Spanish website about this poll, I suddenly found it. At least about Spain the poll has not been rigged! Maybe many people love the final version of Dancing in the Rain, it could be.
Did a Spanish or Romanian fansite just report about the poll? That could explain it if anything.
I remember the huge legion of fans for Serbia last year who suddenly appeared on this site. Still, Serbia didn’t make the final.
don’t think i’ll be voting next time, clearly the poll is rigged.
How else could Spain have suddenly jumped to first despite not being all that close to UK, Romania, and Greece for the majority of the time period?
Why do you like Romania and Poland?
Their songs are sooo boring!
My top 5:
1.Hungary
2.Armenia

If you want to make this poll serious and credible please stop trolling.
Seriously Wiwi, you need to start blocking votes for cookies as well as IP addresses, if you already haven’t. Take all the preventative measures, because your polls are turning into a laughing stock.
